1. Overview

DocuWorks Content Filter is software that is compatible with the Indexing Service in Microsoft® Windows® 2000 and Microsoft® Windows® XP, and the Windows® Search Service interface (IFilter) in Microsoft® Windows Vista®.
This filter can be activated when search indexes are being created by the document-search software. It extracts full-text information and document properties which document-search software requires from DocuWorks files.
Installing DocuWorks Content Filter on servers in which document-search software like Windows® Indexing Service and Windows® Search Service has already been installed allows DocuWorks files to be targeted for a search.

2. Supported Document Search Software

The following programs of document search software are supported.
