Fiery EX550/560 sp5- fixes the following issue: “internal error: unknown error” when processing certain PDF files from indesign “unknown error” when processing certain pdf files from powerpoint 2010 Mesh object with pantone spot color will be printed on every page in illustrator’s host based separator.

This patch enables printing to the CX Print Server from Mac OS X 10.8. The patch is installed on the CX Print Server and includes a new print driver installer, which is placed in the D:\Utilities\MAC Utitlies folder and can then be used to install the new Mac OS X 10.8 driver on your Mac computer.

Send a mixed page size ps file(configured for simplex or duplex) through the creo. The 11x17 page of the result RTP file will be rotated 180 degrees.

Fiery patch 1-1B2P62 is a server fix which fixes the following issue. -Face-Down printing option is missing under configure from CWS. -Poor quality platen scan results. -Not able to offset half-z-fold sheets in ps driver. -Specifying print range to print page 1 does not work.

This is a server fix that fixes the following issue: -irregular thin lines are defined poorly when quality is set to best -Fiery crashes when processed and held job is print with APPE enabled.

Patch 1-1CU8EH(EFIGs)
Install this patch on the fiery server and it will updated the EFIGs driver on the fiery.
Fixes unable to offset half-z-fold sheets in the ps driver.

Patch 1-1CU8ES(Nordic) Install this patch on the fiery server and it will updated the EFIGs driver on the fiery. Then the new driver can be pulled of the Fiery server. Fixes unable to offset half-z-fold sheets in the ps driver.

This patch fixes a problem with the intergrated fiery dropping network connection which makes printing, or running CWS unable.

Fixes the following: 1) security vulnerabilities with PHP 2) Samba Security Issue 3) Web server SSL security issue 4) ICMP timestap request information disclosure vulnerability 5) PHP and Apache needing updating.

The following SPAR are fixed in 1.0sp1.1
1. On some systems, multiple instances of composite patch 1-16C6H7 can become installed.
2. If you have your first priority paper tray dedicated to LEF letter or large stock, no SEF letter loaded in any tray, and you send an SEF letter job programmed to auto tray select, the job will fault with an “Input tray is dedicated for different media message” instead of asking you to load SEF paper in an available tray.
3. When printing an image from Photoshop, it prints shifted down and right on the page.
4. Scan templates created with TIFF as the file format display as JPEG at the printer user interface though they are TIFF when retrieved.
5. Using CWS, you cannot program a job as booklets and no covers which can result in undesired blank pages when you do not want a cover. NOTE: To program a job for booklet imposition and no cover, you program the job to print on both sides for front covers and print on any side for back cover. NOTE: To program a job via print driver, you must also install driver patches 1-1AYIWQ (EFIGS) or 1-19YAO2 (Nordic) in addition to 1.0SP1.1.
6. When you import scan template backup files multiple times, eventually the imports will start to fail.
7. TIFF scans arrive in Docs tab of Fiery WebTools as 0-byte files.
8. For some file formats, SMB scan output does not match the format set in the scan template.
9. You cannot program a stapled booklet with more than 20 sheets if you have the Booklet Maker Finisher option (it should allow up to 25 sheets).

This patch resolves an issue with 1.0 SP1. Be sure that 1.0 SP1 is loaded before loading the Print_patch.
The Print_Patch resolves 045-36x error messages that might occur when you are printing files that include many graphics and images, or while using the Windows Remote Desktop Connection during printing.

Spars fixed SPAR # Description 1.194502162 - You cannot program a stapled booklet with more than 20 sheets if you have the Booklet Maker Finisher option (it should allow up to 25 sheets).
2.656473188 785326475 - You cannot select trays 1-4 for the Input Tray when calibrating or trays 6 or 7 if you have the Oversized High Capacity Feeder.

With 1.0 SP1, when the "Mixed page size document" feature is selected, it will force the 8.5x11 LEF pages to be printed SEF, the job won't print if LEF paper is in the tray.

Minimum requirements downloading SP1 is Internet Explorer 7.0 or above.

If you install SP1, it is highly recommended that you also install the Mixed Page Size Patch.
Issues Fixed: (1) In Preference Window, the CX Print Server IP address were switched. (2) In Accounting Viewer, calendar dates could not be selected. (3) When printing from Tray 5, the Tray displayed a "Broken" status and then an "Out of Position" message. (4) 25 page booklet capability with Plain A media.

New Features: (1) Enables user to define Network Printer Information. (2) Support for FFPM 9.0. (3) Creo Color Server icon on Xerox Color 550/560 UI - ability to view jobs, view calibration status, and perform off-the-glass calibration. (4) Create searchable PDF's via scanning.

patch 1-19QN7Z needs to be installed before this patch. This patch will install the EFIGS driver on the Fiery server so new driver can be downloaded from the fiery server. The driver fixes the following issue: 1)Orientation override property is missing in CWS job properties 2)A constraint message is displayed when selecting 3 hole punch and 2 left side staple. 3)Document size is grayed out in the job properties

Gloss Enhanced Patch will add a glossy finish to pages of your jobs.

DRUM patch for the Xerox CX Print Server for the Xerox Color 550/560 Printer When the DRUM cartridge is almost empty, the CX Print Server stops printing and the Printer prompts you to replace the empty DRUM cartridge immediately. This should not happen. The Printer can still print thousands of pages and the cartridge does not need to be replaced immediately.

Fixes multiple issues: 1. A job is frozen in the print queue and a message is not displayed. If a job is frozen and a drum cartridge is empty, an additional patch (DRUM_Patch_For_CX560_v1.0) is also required in order to continue printing. 2. Unable to select the Offset option for the Booklet Maker Stacker output tray. 3. When submitting a job to the print queue when the printer is in hibernate mode, the printer starts, and then requests that you load the job media to an empty tray when other trays have the correct media. 4. When a black toner and any color (C, M, or Y) toner are empty, the Out Of Toner message for color toner is not displayed on the printer. 5. The user guide, which you can open from the CX print server Help menu, always appears in English even if another language is selected.

When you print a job that includes a z-fold page, the z-fold page is not printed. The page is printed without the z-fold.
