Using PPD for MAC OS below 10.2 can result in issues with:
1. 1 copy job always sent as uncollated.
2. Localized PPD not used by Print Center.
3. Custom paper size not available.
4. Cannot configure installable options when setting up LPR printer.
5. Page Setup doesn’t use paper sizes from PPD.
Issues in the OS are said by Apple to be fixed in the OS 10.2. or above.
