Open CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS)

NOTE: This solution assumes Microsoft Internet Explorer is being used. If other browsers are used, the steps may vary.

The printer must be configured with an IP address before CentreWare Internet Services can be accessed. If necessary, print a System Configuration Report to make sure the printer has an IP address, and the HTTP protocol enabled. See the Related Content for additional information.

For a Microsoft Windows OS:

1. From the computer, open an Internet browser window.

2. Enter the IP address of the printer in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services home page will be displayed.
   
   NOTE: Users may be required to login as a System Administrator to view or modify settings within CentreWare Internet Services. If prompted, login using the System Administrator username and password. The default login name is "admin", and the default password is "1111".
   
   If the window fails to display, enter the IP address followed by /index.dhtml in the Address field, and then press [Enter]. For example, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/index.dhtml (where "x" represents the IP address).

For an Apple Macintosh OS X:

1. Click on [Go] on the menu bar, and then select [Applications]. The Applications window will be displayed.

2. Double-click on [Internet Explorer].

3. Enter the IP address of the printer in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) window will be displayed.
   
   NOTE: Users may be required to login as a System Administrator to view or modify settings within CentreWare Internet Services. If prompted, login using the System Administrator username and password. The default login name is "admin", and the default password is "1111".
