Retrieve Scanned Images

To retrieve scanned images, use CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) to copy the scan files from the printer to your computer.

NOTE: If necessary, print a Configuration Page to obtain the IP address of the printer. See the Related Content section for additional information.

  1. From the computer, open an Internet browser window.
  2. Enter the IP address of the printer in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services window will be displayed.
  3. Click on the [Scan] tab.
  4. Select [Mailboxes] in the Display section.
  5. Click on the folder you scanned to in the Scan to Mailbox section.
  6. For a private folder, click on the the Folder Password field, enter the password, and then click [OK]. The Folder Contents window will display the file.

    NOTE: If your image file does not display, click [Update View].

  7. Under Action, select one of the following options from the pull-down menu:
    • [Download] - saves a copy of the file to your computer. When prompted, click [Save], then navigate to the location on your computer to save the file. Open the file or close the window.
    • [Reprint] - prints the file on the printer without saving a copy of the file to your computer.
    • [Delete] - deletes the file from the mailbox. When prompted, click [OK] to delete the file or [Cancel] to cancel the operation.
  8. Click [Go].
  9. When finished, close the browser window.
