Enable the Scan Confirmation Report, Scan Again, Then Obtain the Error Message

When scanning fails, an error message is generated on the Scan Confirmation Report.

  1. Enable the Scan Confirmation Report. Follow the instructions for the service you are using. See the Related Content for additional information. For troubleshooting purposes, set the Scan Confirmation Report to On. This setting may be modified after the issue has been resolved.
  2. Scan again. The confirmation report will be generated.
  3. Make note of the error message.
  4. Search the knowledge base again using the error message as the search criteria.
