Make Sure the Power Outlet is Working

Test the power outlet that the printer is plugged into by connecting another device to the outlet. Make sure the outlet is functional and stable. If possible, have the line tested by an electrician. If necessary, plug the printer into another power outlet.

NOTE: The printer should be plugged directly into the wall outlet, and should not be connected to an extension cord, power strip, or Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS).
