Remote trouble-shooting utilizes Xerox proprietary technologies to securely transmit critical service data, such as firmware versions, fault history, service items approaching replacement intervals, and diagnostic information to client support personnel and technicians.
- Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel.
- Select the [Machine Information] tab on the Touch Screen.
- Select [Maintenance Assistance] at the bottom, right of the screen.
- Select [Send Information]. The following message will be displayed on the Touch Screen:
Communication in progress. A confirmation report will be printed after the information is sent.
You can safely close this window and continue normal device operation during data transfer.
