Enable or Disable the Email Transmission Log (Confirmation Page)

The Transmission Log (Confirmation Report) provides a detailed printout showing the status of transmission for the job. This can be enabled or disabled from both the Control Panel and the Embedded Web Server.

Configuring the Transmission Log via the Control Panel:

  1. From the printer’s control panel, press Settings.

  2. Press Email.

  3. Press Email Settings.

  4. Press Email Defaults.

  5. Press Admin Controls.

  6. Press Transmission Log.

  7. Select between Print Log, Do Not Print Log, or Print Only For Error.

  8. Press the Home button. The setting takes effect immediately.

Configuring the Transmission Log via the Embedded Web Server:

Note: If you are having difficulties seeing the menu option, you may have to Log in as a System Administrator  to see hidden menu options.

  1. From a computer (on the same network as the printer) open a Web browser.

  2. In the Web browser address field, enter the IP address of the printer and then press Enter or Return. The printer home page will be displayed.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click E-mail.

  5. Click E-mail Defaults, then click Admin Controls.

  6. Click Fax Log Settings.

  7. Under Transmission Log select between Print Log, Do Not Print Log, or Print Only For Error.

  8. Click Save.
