  1. If Using Wifi:  Make Sure the Wireless Settings Have Been Configured Properly .

  2. Power Off the Printer, Wait 10 Seconds, Then Power On the Printer .

  3. Print an Embedded (Internal) Page to Determine Whether or Not the Printer is Able to Print.

  4. Ping the Printer From a Computer With a Microsoft Windows OS

  5. Ping the Printer From an Apple Macintosh With OS X (10.X)

  6. If Using Wifi: Ensure Date and Time are Set Correctly on Access Point/Router

  7. If Using Ethernet: Make Sure the Ethernet (Network) Cable on the Back of the Printer is Securely Connected.

  8. Ensure the printer and the computer are on the same network. 

  9. Ensure network settings are correct. 

  10. If using USB: Do not connect Multiple cables in series. Use a single length cable. Use a USB 2.0 bi-directional cable that is max 15 feet.

  11. Check the Windows Standard TCP/IP Port Settings.

  12. Isolate the Problem to a Specific File, Application, or Computer

  13. Disable Bi Directional Communication

  14. Make sure you are using the correct Print Driver.

  15. Remove and Re-install the Print Driver.

  16. Upgrade the Firmware
