For Microsoft Windows

Important:  2-Sided printing is only available when using the PCL print driver.  The PostScript (PS) print driver does not support 2-Sided printing.

  1. Open the file to be printed.

  2. Select Print in your application.

  3. Select the required printer, and then click on Printing Properties or Preferences.

  4. Select the Basic tab.

  5. Select one of the following options under the 2-Sided Printing section:

    • Printer Default: If you select this option, this feature is determined by the settings made on the control panel of the printer.

    • None: The document is printed single-sided.

    • Long Edge: This is the conventional layout used in book binding.

    • Short Edge: This is the type often used with calendars. The second side images are rotated 180 degrees.

Note: If a 2-Sided Printing section is not displayed, you are likely using the PostScript (PS) print driver.  Install and use the PCL print driver.  The PCL driver can be downloaded from the Xerox Drivers and Downloads website.

  6. Select OK to confirm your selections.

  7. Select OK to print your document.
