Note: Make sure genuine Xerox toner cartridges are being used. Use of non-Xerox supplies is not recommended. Make sure to use genuine Xerox toner cartridges designed for specific use with this product. Use of other toner cartridges may affect print quality and product reliability.
Try the following:
- Make sure the paper being used in the bypass tray is within specifications.
Note: The VersaLink C9000 Bypass Tray supports extra heavyweight media (up to 350 gsm); however, some types of extra heavyweight media may cause a reduced level of feeding performance. If repeated jams occur, try using a different brand of paper or slightly less weighted media.
- Make sure the room temperature and humidity are within specifications.
- Make sure the correct paper type is selected in the print driver. For example, change the Paper Type setting in the print driver from Plain to Lightweight Cardstock.
- When loading paper trays, make sure to program the tray with the correct paper size and paper type.
