To restore network settings back to the factory default values, use the Network Factory Default option.

CAUTION: Performing this procedure erases all settings and returns the printer to its original factory settings. The network connection to the printer will be lost immediately.

Before performing any updates and changes on the printer, it is recommended to print a current Configuration Report. The report also lists the current software (firmware) version installed on the printer.  For details, refer to  Print a Configuration Report.

  1. In Xerox CentreWare Internet Services, click Status > General.

  2. To restore the original network default settings, click Network Factory Default.

  3. Click OK to confirm, or Cancel to cancel the procedure.

Note:  If printer has had a recent firmware upgrade and/or factory defaults reset, the system administrator password may need to be changed.  Refer to Change the System Administrator Password.
