Example of Vertical Black Lines 

Try the following if the output contains black vertical lines or streaks:

  1. If copying or scanning, clean the CVT Glass and the Document Glass.  The CVT glass is the strip of glass to the left of the Document Glass.  For additional information, refer to Clean the Printer.

  2. If copying or printing, Replace the Drum Cartridge.
