Replace Automatic Document Feed (DADF) Rollers and Separator

  1. Open the Document Feeder Cover.

    Open the top cover

  2. Lift and Rotate the locking tab on each end of the roller assembly so the tabs point toward you. 

  3. While holding both tabs, remove the Feed Roller from the cover.

  4. To install new Feed Roller, slide it into the cover.

  5. Rotate the left hook until the tab latches into place. Then rotate the right tab up to latch it into place.

  6. To remove the Separator Cover Assembly, push and lift the front edge of the assembly.

  7. Insert the new Separator Cover Assembly.

  8. Close the Feeder Top Cover.
