Quick Scan Icon is Grayed Out in Easy Document Creator Software

  1. Launch Easy Document Creator software.

  2. Click the button on the bottom of the screen, next to the printer name, with the three dots.

  3. Ensure that the IP of the printer is correct.

  4. If the IP is not correct:

    1. Delete the printer from the list using the Delete button.

    2. Select the Add button.

    3. Select Search by IP address.

    4. Enter the proper IP addresss for the printer.

    5. Select Search.

    6. Click Add at the bottom of the window.

    7. Click OK on the next window. The Quick Scan icon should now be available.
