Image Quality Problem Only When Printing from One Computer or Application

  1. Isolate the problem to a specific file, application, or print driver.
    1. Attempt to print the same file from a different application.
      • If the file prints successfully, the problem is with the original application.
      • If the file does not print successfully from a different application, or it is not possible to test the file from a different application, proceed with step b.
    2. Attempt to print a different file from the same application.
      • If the file prints successfully, the original file is likely the source of the problem.
      • If the file does not print successfully, proceed with step c.
    3. Check your application settings.  If several different files print unsuccessfully from the same application, try selecting different settings within the application.  If the problem persists, continue with step d.
    4. Check your print driver settings.  If the problem seems to occur with any file from any application, try selecting different print driver settings.  If the problem persists, continue with step e.
    5. Remove and re-install the print driver.  Make sure to install the correct driver for your printer model.  See the Related Content for the Xerox Drivers and Downloads website for your specific product model.
