Unable to Scan to Email Using a Gmail SMTP Mail Server

  1. Set Allow Less Secure Apps to ON when Scanning to Gmail.
  2. Make Sure the SMTP Server Settings are Configured Correctly.
  3. Make Sure the DNS Settings for the Local Network are Configured Correctly.
  4. Make Sure the Device Email Address and Default From Address Used by the Device Match.
  5. Login Credentials used for SMTP Authenitcation Must Match the Gmail Email Address used by the Device.
  6. Perform a Software Reset or a Power Off and On the Device.
  7. Upgrade the Device Firmware to the Latest General Release or Higher.
  8. If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance.
