Scan to E-mail Fails; Unable to Connect to Remote Server Error

1.Modify the DNS Server Settings.

2.Use the IP Address of the SMTP Server Instead of the Host Name.

3.Check Outlook for the Mail Server.

4.Add Login Credentials For Scan To Email.

5.Configure SMTP Settings Using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS).

6.Check the Scan to E-mail Error Sheet for the SMTP Server IP Address or Host Name, and Perform a Ping Test.

7.Telnet Into an SMTP Server to Troubleshoot Scan to E-mail Using Microsoft Windows 2000 / XP OS.
