Remove Paper and Debris From Behind Trays 3 and 4

CAUTION: When reaching into the back of any machine beware of sharp objects.

  1. Pull out the affected tray to it's furthest extent.



  2. Remove any paper loaded into the tray.

  3. Lift up on tray to a 30 degree angle.

  4. Gently pull to the left until tray releases from the machine.



  5. Remove tray, placing tray on a clean flat surface.

  6. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for Tray 2.

  7. Open Trays 3 and 4 to their furthest extent.

  8. Examine behind Trays 3 and 4 and remove any loose bits of jammed paper or debris.

    Note: Use a Ruler access any paper that may be beyond reach.

  9. Close Trays 3 and 4.

  10. Reinsert Tray 2 into tray cavity.

  11. Reload paper into tray.

  12. Firmly Close the tray door until it clips in place.

  13. Reinsert Tray 1 into tray cavity.

  14. Reload paper into tray.

  15. Firmly Close the tray door until it clips in place.

  16. Confirm the Tray Settings for the Loaded Media at the Device User Interface.
