You can configure the printer to print a banner page with each print job.  The banner page contains information identifying the user and job name. You can set this option in the print driver and in the Embedded Web Server.

NOTE: Enable Banner page printing in the print driver and at the control panel or the Embedded Web Server, otherwise a banner page does not print.

To Manage Banner Pages in the Embedded Web Server:

  1. In the Embedded Web Server, Login as the System Administrator, then click System.

  2. Click Defaults & Policies.

  3. In the Printer Settings area, click Print Banner Pages.

  4. Click Printer Banner Pages, then select an option:

    • To disable banner page printing, click Print Banner Pages, then select Off.

    • To select a paper source for banner pages, touch Paper Tray, and then select the desired tray.

    • To enable the print driver to override the setting for banner pages, for Allow Print Driver to Override, click the toggle button.

Note: A check mark on the toggle button indicates that the feature is enabled. Remove the check mark to disable.

    • To enable the printer to detect when the client provides a banner page, for Detect Client Banner Pages, click the toggle button.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Restart Now.

Enable or Disable Banner Pages Printing from the Print Driver:

  1. Select File from the application menu.

  2. Select Print.

  3. Select the printer.

  4. Select Properties.

  5. Select Advanced.

  6. Depending on the printer driver:

    • Click to expand the Paper/Output option.

    • Click on the green Earth Smart button at the bottom, left of the window.

  7. Click to Enable or Disable the Banner Page option.

  8. Click OK to save the changes.

Note: If banner page printing is disabled in the Xerox Printer Embedded Web Server or at Printer Control Panel, setting the print driver to print banner pages is ignored.
