Reseat the Toner Cartridge

1. Power off the printer and disconnect the Interface cable.

2. Open the front door to access the toner cartridges.
   
   
   
   
   NOTE: There are 4 toner cartridges; one cartridge for each toner color. From the left of the printer to the right, the corresponding colors are Yellow (Y), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), and Black (K).
   
   

3. Carefully pull the required toner cartridge out of the printer.
   
   
   
   

4. Place the cartridge over a waste receptacle (garbage can) or several sheets of paper. Redistribute the toner in the cartridge by rocking the cartridge from side to side a several times and tapping along the top of the cartridge. 
   
   NOTE: Do not rock the Toner Cartridge too hard or Toner may spill out.
   
   CAUTION: Do not use warm water or cleaning solvents to remove Toner (Dry Ink) from your skin or clothing. This will set the Toner and make it difficult to remove. If any Toner gets on your skin or clothing, use a brush to remove the Toner, or wash it off with cold water and mild soap.
   
   

5. Reinstall the cartridge. Line up the toner cartridge with the required location and push the cartridge into the printer until the cartridge clicks into place.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   

6. Close the front door.
