The Xerox Easy Assist App provides different levels of support based on the type of device to which it connects and that device’s firmware level.
At the highest level (Install & Manage), XEA can provide you a full suite of features from providing guided installation of your printer, changing its settings, checking its toner and paper levels, to getting self-support assistance. A slightly lower level of features are available on Manage Support Level printers that don’t have firmware specifically designed for use with XEA, but were still made by Xerox in the past few years.
Every other Xerox printer can provide the Basic Support Level. Please see the attached table showing specific features provided at each Support Level.

Support Levels by Device and Firmware Level
New printers and some printers receiving firmware updates (starting delivery in late 2022) will include “Install and Manage” level of support.
