The printer must be configured with an IP address before CentreWare Internet Services can be accessed. If necessary, print a Configuration Report to make sure the printer has an IP address and that the HTTP protocol is enabled. See the Related Content for additional information.
- From the computer, open an Internet browser window.
- Enter the IP address of the printer in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services home page will be displayed.
NOTE: Users may be required to login as a System Administrator to view or modify settings within CentreWare Internet Services. If prompted, login using the System Administrator username and password. The default login name is "admin", and the default password is "1111".
NOTE: If there are too many unsuccessful attempts to log into CWIS, CWIS will lock out any further attempts. Power off the printer for 1 minute, and then power it back on. See the Related Content. This will unlock CWIS. If the username or password have been modified or forgotten, contact support to place a service call.
