The Xerox MFP Extension file must be installed on the ePO server before Xerox Multifunction Printers can be managed by ePO. This .zip file contains two .zip files: Xerox MFP extension and the McAfee Embedded Control extension with SolidCore in the name.
An extension is a set of code and data that customizes McAfee Foundation Services (MFS) in some way. Extensions are packaged as zip archives that contain the install, uninstall, upgrade, and downgrade instructions, as well as any other files required by the extension. Extensions can be installed and removed at runtime through the extension management UI or with commands.
For Service Packs: The below Service Pack is the latest firmware release for this model. This software release contains the latest features, security updates and fixes. Ensure you review the Product Enhancement Read Me for details and consult the Installation Guide for any special instructions before installing new firmware.

Altalink Firmware Note: The below firmware version is the current release on newly manufactured devices. There may be a newer version listed in the Service Pack category on this page. Ensure you consult the Installation Guide for any special instructions before installing new firmware.
Due to changes in manufacturing hardware, new AltaLink C81xx/B81xx devices that are delivered with 114.xxx.001.31515, should not be downgraded. The minimum software version available for these devices is 114.xxx.001.31515. If you attempt to downgrade software on these devices, a Xerox Technician will be required to upgrade the device in the future. In addition, do not upgrade these devices to either of these releases: • 114.xxx.012.01810 • 114.xxx.022.12100 If you require the fixes that are available in these two releases, a compatible (upgradeable) software release will be available sometime in August 2022.
