When this patch is not installed even if the job is in black & white the 1st BTR's of the color stations CMY in the IOT are not retracted in B & W mode and the machine will keep the process control as it is in a full color job.
This leads to low toner in the developer tanks later when the customer is printing full color jobs afterwards.
When this patch is installed, if grayscale or Black & White jobs are sent the color stations CMY in the IOT are not retracted, it prints in k-only mode. The switch to

Note: The EFI Intergated Color Server must be rebooted separately, without turning off the Xerox 700 Digital Press or the EFI Intergated Color Server. The EFI Integrated Color Server can be rebooted using Command Workstation software; or from the the Xerox 700 Digital Color Press UI by selecting All Services>Web Applications or from the EFI Integrated Color Servers webpage by selecting the Configure Tab>Launch Configure and the Reboot button.
In K-Only mode the color (CMY) housing are disengaged and the associated drums and developers are turned
off. An advantage in utilizing K-Only mode is that when you print CMYK files, the color print’s image quality
resumes to high quality. In terms of serviceability, K-Only mode preserves the life of the developer housing and
photoreceptors.

Note: Your system must be at version EX700 v1.0_SP1 prior to installing this software.
This patch is for non-Hebrew Fiery’s only where patch 1-ZKLVP was installed unintentionally. On a non-Hebrew system with 1-ZKLVP installed, CWS will display corrupted characters. The user must install patch 1-ZVVZ6 and then jobs must be resubmitted for the correct characters to be displayed in CWS.
Caution: If 1-ZVVZ6 is installed on a Hebrew server accidentally, the user will have to reinstall patch 1-ZKLVP in order for the characters in CWS to display correctly.
